Pediatric CPR, AED & First Aid Certification
Professional CPR offer Pediatric & Infant CPR, AED & First Aid certification to childcare and preschool workers who need to meet EMSA requirements. We offer these classes every month at our locations in Modesto and Sacramento or we can come to your location and provide onsite training. The Pediatric CPR class focuses on infant and child CPR and First Aid techniques
- 2 year, American Heart Association (AHA) certification card.
- Meets CA-EMSA requirements for CPR for childcare, daycare and preschool workers in California.
- 8 hours in length – (Required by state law – 4 hours CPR/AED, 4 hours First Aid)

California EMSA Approved
The course covers the four steps of pediatric First Aid, CPR AED, asthma care training, management of illnesses and injuries, child and infant safety checklist, how children act and tips for Interacting with them. The course is designed for those care givers involved in child care that have a duty to respond to a first aid emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements. This audience includes child care workers, teachers, foster care workers, day care workers, preschool teachers, camp counselors, youth organizations and coaches for children’s sports organizations. This course is also ideal for parents, grandparents, babysitters and guardians.
The American Heart Association Pediatric First Aid, CPR and AED course manual may be purchased at or before class for $20.00 each.
