EMSA – Pediatric First Aid, CPR and AED
- Meets EMSA requirements for childcare, daycare and preschool workers in California.
- 2 year, American Heart Association (AHA) certification card.
- 8 hours in length – (Required by state law – 4 hours CPR/AED, 4 hours First Aid)
- $95 per person
- Minimum 8 students per onsite class.
The course covers the four steps of pediatric First Aid, CPR AED, asthma care training, management of illnesses and injuries, child and infant safety checklist, how children act and tips for Interacting with them. The course is designed for those care givers involved in child care that have a duty to respond to a first aid emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements. This audience includes child care workers, teachers, foster care workers, day care workers, preschool teachers, camp counselors, youth organizations and coaches for children’s sports organizations. This course is also ideal for parents, grandparents, babysitters and guardians.
